Stogie Joes Passyunk Tavern in Bella Vista/ Southwark has Great Pizza, Good Clams Casino, Decent Wings, Over Cooked and drowned in sauce Sausage, Tasty but over cooked Mussels, medicore fresh bread ( amazing for S. Philly) Topping on Garlic Bread was delicious but on 1/2 a Keiser Roll. The Antipasta salad was large and filled w/ tasty basics, the Ceasar Salad wasn't bad. The Pasta w/ Crab and Shrimp tasted like someone mixed up the salt and sugar in the kitchen. They insisted it was the sweet crab. Hardly but they did exchange it for another selection. As a fan of Joe's brother Kristian's restaurant barring his name, It is obvious he has taken no advice from him. I like a neighborhood bar but this doesn't even posses that charm. Looks like they opened the Garage Door and tossed in some tables and chairs. Chairs too low for the tables, streun about. The Bar was Good, drinks were cheap and the Service was attentive. If you're looking for a neighborhood Bar w/ Good Eats to hang this isn't it.
